Bobby Orr Flies

This is photo of professional hockey player Bobby Orr. He had just scored a few minutes into overtime in the deciding game in the 1970 NHL Stanley Cup Finals. He was tripped by another players stick and went airborne but still managed to score. He begins celebrating before he reached the ice. This gave the Boston Bruins their first Stanley Cup in 29 years. This photo exemplifies time. The photo is in black and white and the player’s equipment is outdated. They are also not wearing any helmets which is now against the rules. This photo also captures Orr frozen in mid-air, which “freezes” time.
