Blind Spot Magazine; Nora Schultz; Untitled 2010

What I believe works best in this photo is the flow of time moving towards the top of the frame. Though the quote suggests we should "seize the time," the flow of the separate "time[s]" also suggests that time inevitably continues (perhaps the very reason why we should strive to "seize the time"). This perpetual march of time is also implied by the movement of feet in the right half of the picture. Additionally, the text boxes in which "time" appears become sequentially smaller as they move closer to the top of the photo. This perhaps suggests our inability to manipulate time, and how (over time) time seems to increasingly elude us.
